Watch this video to see nine restorers reflect on their most challenging and/or frustrating jobs. They share stories involving tear gas, snow and ice removal, preserving historical architecture, raw sewage, confined spaces, biohazard remediation, a loss three days before Christmas, a U.S. ship, high-security and high-emotion environments, working with insurance adjusters, 1,000 pounds of thick tile, and restoring 50 units in a nursing home with more than 60 residents displaced.
